We’re just back from CES and are so energized by the flurry of tech providers and global brands launching products and talking about all facets of the wireless world we are entering into. While we’re all just beginning to understand the possibilities, one thing is certain: it’s no longer about if or when – without a doubt, 2018 will be the year of wireless.
During CES, we deployed Chargifi’s enterprise-grade wireless charging solution at MGM Resorts International’s NEW YORK-NEW YORK Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
With the average wireless charging session at hotels lasting 50 minutes, executives can see that our technology represents a valuable opportunity to engage guests in meaningful ways and monetize these interactions to drive maximum profitability every day.
That aside, when you consider that 90% of people say they want wireless charging in their next device – and 70% have chosen to visit a public venue because of the availability of wireless charging – wireless power is quickly becoming a necessity to draw and keep customers, as WiFi was several years ago (and to an extent, still is).
In addition to Chargifi hotel deployments at the Grand Hyatt New York, and NEW YORK-NEW YORK, this week we’ve also been deployed at the Marriott Santa Clara ahead of Intel Capital’s sales kick-off. Chargifi’s wireless charging will be available to guests on location.
Considering the Marriott Santa Clara sits in the heart of the U.S. tech industry in Silicon Valley, we are excited to see how the tech titans and disruptors visiting engage with our technology.
