Global hospitality brands transform customer experience with Chargifi’s smart wireless charging

Today we are pleased to announce a number of new global partnerships in the hospitality sector. Already bringing smart power to an array of public spaces, we are expanding by partnering up with the iconic Grand Hyatt New York, Hotel Indigo® – Kensington and The Providore Downtown in Singapore. These hopsitality brands recognise the necessity of remaining connected with family and friends and the frustration that comes with decreased battery life.

Battery anxiety happens to half of Brits (52%) each week and so our convenient, wireless charging solution will improve a guests experience during their visit – with no need for plug points, adapters or even a cable.

Whilst the customer experience is at the fore, hotel brands can also use our platform to gain a better understanding of their guests, by identifying how they use charging facilities. By understanding how guests interact, brands can then tailor their offering.

Commenting on the deployment at Hotel Indigo – Kensington, Nicolas Braud, General Manager, “We always want to provide our guests with a great experience when they come through our doors. Having a fully-charged phone helps our guests properly explore and take photos of the local neighbourhood, and being able to this through Chargifi’s innovative technology just makes it that much simpler for our guests.”

John Schafer, Area Vice President and General Manager at Grand Hyatt New York added, “We are pleased to be partnering with Chargifi to introduce wireless charging stations at Grand Hyatt New York. We pride ourselves in being up-to-date on the latest technology developments and we know convenient wireless power and staying connected is critical to customer experience. Our goal is to ensure our busy guests have both their business and leisure needs catered for and we see Chargifi as a fantastic addition to our Grand Club offering.”

With our technology also being deployed in Singapore, Bruce Chapman, Managing Director at The Providore said: “Charging facilities are one of those things that our staff get asked about every single day. We really believe in wireless power and Chargifi’s approach to the power problem that all of us have, whether we’re in shopping mall, heading out for lunch or dinner; battery anxiety that Chargifi talk about is real for Singaporeans! We like the fact that we can implement this new technology easily and their software platform and support allows us to optimise not only our wireless charging deployment, but actually our broader customer service.”

The wireless charging network provides these global hotels with the latest technology in a seamless package, which caters for technology needs of the guest, allowing them to become truly mobile with their devices.
