Powering up: we announce a new partnership with DTP
It’s fantastic to be working with so many other businesses and individuals that share our passion for wireless power, and vision of a wireless word. Through our partners, we are making great strides in creating a truly wireless world and making wireless power available to everyone, everywhere.
With a flying start to 2018, we are pleased to announce our second managed service provider (MSP) partnership in a matter of weeks, as we on board DTP Group - an IT infrastructure, solutions and MSP in the education technology, corporate campus and commercial sectors.
Our growing number of recent partnerships have highlighted the customer demand that is driving the need for wireless power. This particular partnership will be meeting both consumer expectations to offer wireless power at scale, whilst also generating valuable customer insight for brands in the education and hospitality sectors.
“Wireless charging is rapidly becoming the standard for laptop and tablet device charging, as well as mobile phones. The Chargifi solution is a perfect fit across a number of sectors we already operate within, such as universities, hotels and hospitality.” says Howard Hall, DTP founder and managing director.
Our wireless charging technology will be available to DTP’s clients as a managed service that includes solution design, infrastructure, software and implementation and proactive management and maintenance.
DTP will be able to monitor usage and performance, and provide customers with insightful reports and information about their wireless charging spots. The technology also allows clients to personalise usage dependent upon the download of their own apps, making the solution appealing to those in the retail and hospitality sectors who are increasingly adopting mobile engagement and location-based technologies, to enhance the user experience.
This partnership will enable DTP to meet consumer demand for wireless power and offer a multi-dimensional solution - wireless power for the end user, and for the client, valuable insight into consumer behaviour and engagement.
DTP is already working with Chargifi and a number of its clients to demonstrate how the technology will work within its clients’ own environments, and will be jointly exhibiting the Chargifi solution at the annual University IT Directors conference, UCISA, in Bournemouth from the 7th-9th March 2018.
